Dishub Builds Collaboration to Provide 50 Mobile Emission Test Vehicles

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) collaborates with one of workshop equipment providers to launch 50 mobile emission test service vehicles. Those vehicles will be placed in various locations throughout Jakarta.

Later on , we will coordinate the locations where people can carry out emission test using this mobile service

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said collaboration is carried out in form of providing emission test vehicles to facilitate vehicle users to access emission test locations.

This emission test system has been integrated with Environment (LH) Agency's e-Uji Emisi system, UP Parking system, and Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda).

"Later on, we will coordinate the locations where people can carry out emission test using this mobile service," he conveyed during Emission Test Service Unit Show at Jatibaru Technical Service Building, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, on Friday (5/28).

He assessed that it is in accordance with Pergub No. 66/2020 which has been applied regarding emission test implementation for motorized vehicles in Jakarta. It is also a form of collaborative work between Jakarta Government and element of society, in this case with PT. Panca Jaya Setia, which provides vehicles for emission test service.

"Referring to Pergub No. 66/2020, there will be incentives and disincentives for vehicles that have not conducted emission test," he added.

Moreover, Dishub also coordinates with LH Agency and company that provides emission test service vehicles to analyze strategic locations that allow people to carry out emission test using this service.

"We also give training and mentoring to technicians together with LH Agency. We and our partner are still analyzing locations to place these vehicles in predetermined locations," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, PT. Panca Jaya Setia Owner, Ade Ratri stated, this collaboration is carried out as one of his supports for Jakarta Blue Sky program.

"We show two units first. If there is no revision, we will produce 50 units and continue to produce them periodically. Tools and technology used in this emission test vehicles are the best and meet the criteria set in Jakarta Governor Regulation," he explained.
